Climate Change and changing patterns of livelihoods

Climate change has transformed itself from myth to reality. The discrepancies in the weather and the seasons are becoming more prominent as time passes by. India has been facing some major climatic variations. Places like Delhi have still not received a proper monsoon, whereas northeast India has witnessed torrential rainfall. Climate change is also influencing livelihood opportunities. Traditional crop patterns are becoming unsustainable. Fishermen are getting affected and similarly rural forest based livelihood options are becoming limited.
